Hydraulic Stretching for Ski
Boots & Other Footwear
With over 20 hydraulic presses creating 3000lbs/sq. in,
Cosmo can reshape your footwear and ski boots to fit your
feet, perfectly. The quantity of the hydraulic presses is
important in the winter, so the presses can stay in the boots
over night to ensure the reshaping of your boots holds. A
quick press can provide some short term relief but not a
long term successful result. $15 per press
Mechanical Spot Punches for Ski
Boots & Other Footwear
Mechanical spot punches are
great for an ankle bone or a
specific bone spur area, and
require a vacuum formed orthotic
to stabilize your foot.
Ski Boot Grinding
 Some
ski boots require grinding using
air die grinding tools. To
ensure your perfect grinding,
Cosmo uses over 10 die grinders,
setup with special heads. The
grinding is finished with what
is called "world cup balls",
which buff out the grind to a
smooth finish.
With the new materials and
bi-injection processes used in
today's ski boots, a
professional grinding is
important to reshape your new
ski boots to your feet.
Buckle Replacements
Parts for ski boots and having
the tools & skills to replace
them, is something that is
really hard to find. Cosmo has
been collecting random ski &
back country parts and the
riveters and dies for them,
for over 15 years. Let Cosmo

replacement, with years of
experience, Cosmo can replace
almost any buckle.

blasted with a heat gun so the
punches and presses will hold."
